An interesting list, but I feel like these things are incredibly hard to really predict in advance for college players. Somebody like Rajon Rondo is getting tons of hype right now based on one decent college season and a bit of international play in the summer. Could he be the 3rd best point guard in the nation this year? Sure, but his numbers aren’t really much better than someone like Mustafa Shakur’s, and he’s not even on the list. Of course they also always leave freshmen out of lists like this, even though the chances of someone like Mario Chalmers or Greg Paulus being better than some of these guys is pretty good. That said, Dee Brown seems like the obvious choice for number one. He may not be the NBA prospect that some of these guys are, but given his skills and experience, there shouldn’t be anyone better.
