PhogCast episode 4: Micah Downs and the eternal lightness of Jayhawk Hoops
What can we do with the Jayhawks but look upon them in awe. The last ten days have shown us the sound and the fury of Kansas Basketball. But don’t just believe me, listen to the 4th PhogCast. It was recorded earlier in the week, so please think fondly of my bold predictions.

This appears to be episode 3, rather than 4. This is the interview with Mike DeCourcy, which is excellent but a little dated.

Thanks Harger, I fixed that. Sorry for the confusion.

Great episode! Your musings are interesting and insightful.
Jeremy, I agree with your positive (hopefully not naive) assessments. I’m just not concerned about the program because Micah choose to sneak away in the night.
You know, if he didn’t like his playing time here, he’s going to hate sitting on the bench at Gonzaga. A year is a LONG time.
I hope she’s worth it.

My thought - bring on Tyrel Reed from Burlington, Kansas. He’s every bit the player Micah is, if not better.

A class of Reed and Aldrich would indeed be sweet as hell.

I hear he’s a UNC lean, but the things I hear are highly suspect. In any case, I’ve heard he’s a real Kirk Hinrich kind of player, and that a lot of people will misjudge him because of the way he looks.
