More love for the Baby Jays from Andy Katz

Katz waxes complimentary on our beloved Baby Jayhawks today

Kansas: The Jayhawks are rolling. They swept through Nebraska on the road and Iowa State at home to stay within one game of first-place Texas in the Big 12. Kansas once had the look of a bubble team and now is looking at a high NCAA seed. Bill Self has done his best coaching job in his brief KU tenure.

After two more wins in the next week, we’ll be 10-0 over our last 10 and people will start trumping up the matchup with Texas.

    While I’d love to be 10-0 before our showdown with Texas, Im NOT going to count Mizzou out. Sure laugh at me now, but I think everyone could agree that Mizzou could go 1-15 in the conference and have that one win over KU. Granted, since they have already obtained that this year and I know we are an even better team than what we were a month ago….I still have drawbacks of counting Mizzou out.

    I will wear bright yellow pants if Mizzou beats us on Saturday. And I will never wear bright yellow pants.
