Off topic: Video of Dunk Contest
Not really KU related, except for the fact that CJ played with Nate Robinson, but I thought this video might be of interest to readers.

My first posting to the PB and I hate that it is in regard to this video but…Nate Robinson should not have won that dunk contest. The little man attempted more than 20 dunks, the editing on this clip just makes it look like a lot cooler when you don’t have to sit through all the mishaps.
On another note, love the blog, miss Lawrence (live in DC now), and I can’t wait for this Saturday.
Go Hawks!

Hey thanks. I didn’t actually watch the contest, but I heard that he missed a lot.

Only if you consider 20+ misses on two dunks a lot.

Is there a way that I can download this clip? There are a lot of sick dunks.

Regardless, he did things that were flat out insane.

All I have to say is, Iguadalia is the same guy who didn’t go to Kansas because he was worried he wouldn’t start. I have never seen a dunk like his behind-the-back rediculousness.

I disagree with you. I think that he won and did a good job. Nate is a small person (which some people cant seem to understand) and he pushes himself to do things that people his height cant do. He does things like a big man. It doesnt matter how many times he started the dunk the rules are only missed dunks are counted. Just give the man his props and stop hating. No hard feelings.

I’m with La La…I’m a diehard Knicks fan and I have to tell you, us Knicks fans haven’t exactly had much to cheer about this season. This was like our championship. So all you Philly fans and flat out haters quit it because Nate deserved the win. He aint even 5′8″ because Spud Webb was 5′7″ and if you watched the dunk contest, you could clearly see that Nate was shorter. Don’t get me wrong Iggy had some sick dunks but Nate deserved the win. Next time you feel like hating on the lil men, go try and do what Nate did and get back to me, peace!

Thanks J for agreeing with me.
