How to win your 2006 NCAA Tournament Bracket Pool
You could go on gut instinct, and lose, or spend hours and hours poring over endless statistics.
Or if you’re smart, you could spend a few bucks to have access to the same proprietary tools that Vegas uses to pick games. I know I’ll be using the BracketBrains tool this year, and I recommend you do the same. Click on the banner below to check it out, but I’m pretty sure you’ll be as impressed as I am.

Tried last years BracketBrains on KU and Bucknell. KU was favored to win by 10.9. Not sure how reliable this program will be… but there are just too many factors to consider for anything to be reliable. I think I will just go with my gut… it has been right most of the time. Of course, I am one that always puts KU at the national championship no matter what seed they are.

KU/Bucknell is a poor example. Gut predictions are by and large less accurate than computer rankings. A good computer ranking will be right around 72/73%. The RPI sits at 69% and is a lot worse. Your average ill-informed fan is lucky to hit 65%
I think it’s a very helpful tool.
