2006-07 College Football Bowl Schedule

posted by Jeremy Chrysler on 7/27/2006 - -

Well, I know it’s a little early, but smart fans are hawkeye-ing KU’s potential bowl locations and making hotel reservations with no cancellation penalty right now. I think it’s very likely that KU could win 8-9 games w/ a bowl win this year so you all better get on it. Without further ado, here’s that bowl schedule. Note the additional BCS National Championship game is on January 8th.

My goodness all these corporately named bowls really make me nauseous.

What is the International Bowl and why is it played on the 6th?

  2. talentedmrshoe Says:

The International Bowl is an American college football game, with the first bowl game to be played outside the United States since the Bacardi Bowl in Cuba, to be played on January 6, 2007 at the Rogers Centre (formerly known as SkyDome) in Toronto, Canada. The game will match up teams from the Big East and the MAC conferences and will be televised live on ESPN2 in the United States and TSN in Canada.

Wow, Toronto in early January…now that’s a hot spot.
