Late Night Visitors, Schedule, Emerging from the Mist
Nothing like a silly metaphorical reference to a Jodie Foster movie to describe what’s happening here in Jayhawkland.Nothing.While you’re all waiting around for Mark’s picks to drop and cursing (or blessing) me for a general lack of activity, I’ll point you to a few snippets from today’s L J W.
First of all, the KU - Depaul game in Chicago is an early afternoon tip. This means that you will have trouble driving to the game the day of unless you plan on leaving at like 4 in the morning. The good news is that if you do that, you could actually be home by 1. It’s a lot of miles for one game. It’s KU in Chicago. Plenty of people will do it.Second, there are now three “confirmed” visitors for Late Night.
Anthony Randolph, a 6-foot-10 senior forward from Dallas, will make an official recruiting trip to Kansas for the Oct. 13 Late Night in the Phog. He will be joined by 6-8 senior Kyle Singler of South Medford, Ore., and Cole Aldrich, 6-11 from Bloomington, Minn.
I would expect at least one more visitor for Late Night. I would definitely expect Travis Releford to be there.

I heard that Tyrel Reed will be there too. He and Releford are touring together, and playing pickup games together in Lawrence. That would be a nice pair to bring in, one in 2007 and one in 2008.

Reed and Releford played on the same AAU team last summer.
