Tyrell Reed Chooses KU
KU was a dark horse for a Reed, who I thought would choose UNC. The Kirk Hinrich syndrome is in full effect with Reed…he’s definitely under rated because he’s a shocky, white midwesterner.

The Wichita EagleLAWRENCE - Burlington point guard Tyrel Reed will sign a letter of intent to play basketball at Kansas this afternoon during a news conference at the high school.
Reed, an All-State player last season, is rated as the 14th-best point guard among high school seniors by Rivals.com and a top 100 player overall.
Reed said last month that his list of schools had narrowed to KU, Stanford, North Carolina, Boston College, Oklahoma and Missouri.
This is a good pickup and he’ll be a fine player for KU.

This is GREAT NEWS!!!
I’ve been saying for about two years now that KU couldn’t afford to miss out on the best in-state prospect to come along in years. He’s a smart, skilled player. He reminds me a great deal of Kirk Hinrich. KU fans will LOVE this guy.
