In thinking about the UT-KU game on Saturday I wondered if these were the two hottest teams in the country.  I took each team’s Pomeroy rankings from four weeks ago (February 8 ) and their current ranking.  I then weeded out all the teams that never really had a shot at a tourney bid (Baylor has moved up from 129 to 95, which is fantastic for them, but I just don’t think that’s relevant).  The following list is a combination of how many spots a team was moved up, and what % of possible ground they have made up (for example Kansas has only moved up four spots, but I figure its much harder to move up from 6 to 2 than from 66 to 62).
