DeAndre Liggins Update
So the other day we were talking about DeAndre Liggins and his relationship with Travis Relaford. Turns out DeAndre is pretty warm on KU:
Liggins has visited Champaign and Lawrence, Kan., and already has a favorite of the two — and it’s not what Illini fans want to hear.
‘’I really like Kansas over Illinois,'’ Liggins said. ‘’I liked their tradition. Their atmosphere is crazy. I like the way Bill Self and the guys treated me. At Illinois, they treated me good, too. I just like Kansas better.'’
Does Bill Self own the entire state of Illinois?

sounds pretty good.. hopefully Sherron and Julian will put in good words for him and he’ll choose KU over the other 3 schools.. Kinda seems like another Julian Wright… but 2 inches shorter.. I don’t know if he’s as athletic but then he can definately stroke it from down town though..and a good passer too!! Go to Youtube.com and type in “Deandre Liggins”…

Wow. To announce in a Chicago Sun Times interview that KU is way ahead of the hometown Illini is an awsome comment - and some sweet tweekage!

Damn! Liggins committed to Kentucky today. This is a big loss for us on the recruiting front. He was definitely one of Self’s top targets in 2008.
