Michael Lee joins the Jayhawks as Assistant
I know I am not the only fan to be excited about the return of Michael Lee:
Michael Lee officially will be tapped a student assistant in KU’s basketball office Wednesday. Lee, who played at KU from 2001 to ‘05, played professionally in France last year. He competed for the Harlem Globetrotters his first year out of KU. It had been reported several times by the Journal-World throughout the summer that Lee planned on working for coach Bill Self as he pursued his masters in sports management.
Now if we can add him to Mangino’s secondary as some safety / linebacker hybrid, we’d be really cooking with gas.
